SweatBack

In 2021, I was the developer of SweatBack, a fitness app that helps users track workouts and progress with smartwatch integration. The app features gamified progress tracking, a monthly calendar, challenges, and collaborations with fitness brands, offering exclusive incentives to enhance user engagement and motivation.

As the lead designer and developer of SweatBack, I handled both front-end and back-end development, created the app's structure, solved data syncing issues, used user feedback to improve the app, partnered with fitness brands for special offers, and ensured a smooth, bug-free launch with ongoing support.

My Contributions
Full-Stack Development: Led the development using Ionic and Angular for the front-end, and Firestore for the back-end, ensuring seamless integration and performance.

System Architecture: Designed the app's architecture, incorporating Google Analytics for user behavior tracking and Apple HealthKit for health data integration.

Challenges and Solutions: Addressed real-time data syncing and device integration challenges, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience.

User Feedback Integration: Gathered and incorporated user feedback through conversations and surveys to refine the app's design and functionality.

Fitness Brand Collaborations: Partnered with brands like Rabeko, Revolution, The Gym Pod, Urbanized, and Ground Zero to offer exclusive discounts and incentives, enhancing user engagement.

Team Leadership: Led a small team, managing design, development, business development, and operations.

Notable Achievements: Achieved valuable insights from 150 beta testers, refining the app for its full launch.
